TYNGSBORO — Tyngsboro High School has announced its Students of the Month for April.
Anna Gribbin, daughter of Dave and Nicole Gribbin, has been named on the honor roll and was a member of the ski club. She was also a member of the varsity softball team during her freshman year and volunteered at the Tyngsboro Block Party. Her hobbies include photography, working, videography, and hanging out with her best friends. Anna’s favorite subject is history and her future goals are to go to college and study marketing with a minor in graphic design.
Dorothy Doherty, daughter of Nicole and Edward Doherty, was a two-year member of the National Honor Society. She also received numerous awards such as Outstanding Achievement in Wellness, the Academic Excellence Award, and the Principal’s Award. Dorothy was also a two-year member of the Tyngsboro Theatre program and a member of the varsity tennis team. She has volunteered at The Wish Project and outdoor cleanup activities. Dorothy’s hobbies include crochet, biking, climbing trees, and drawing. Her favorite subjects are math and anatomy. Dorothy’s future goals include studying computer science and becoming a game designer. She hopes to travel and explore the world and to set up philanthropic organizations after college.
Madeline Menaker, daughter of Kimberly Siddle and William Menaker, has received numerous awards such as the Outstanding Achievement in World Language and Outstanding Achievement in Instrumental Music. Madeline was a member of the band program and the varsity golf team. Madeline’s favorite subjects are anatomy, English and Spanish.
Cameran Pedreschi, daughter of Cate and Brian Pedreschi, has received the Outstanding Achievement in Visual Arts Award, Outstanding Achievement in Physical Education Award, and the Principal’s Award. She was also on the honor roll all four years. Cameran was a member of the varsity soccer team her freshman year. She has participated in community service such as donating her hair to several organizations for children with cancer and alopecia, crocheting/making blankets to donate to retirement homes, and volunteering at neonatal intensive care units and homeless shelters. Cameran loved spending holidays making cards for patients, their families, and health care workers at various hospitals. Her hobbies include getting lost in the pages of a good book, at a desk with a paintbrush in her hand, playing soccer, or crocheting. Cameran’s favorite subjects were any anatomy class with Mrs. Hamilton, Roadtrip Nation with Mrs. Times, and Writing Research with Mr. Redman. Her future goal is to find what makes her fulfilled and happy. Right now, that looks like going to college and majoring in animal science on a pre-veterinary track to become a veterinarian.
