Tyngsboro High’s September Students of the Month

TYNGSBORO — Tyngsboro High School has announced its Students of the Month for September.

Evan Cote, son of Brenda and Scott Cote, is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. Evan has received numerous awards in his time at THS, including the National Security Language Initiative for Youth Award, Massachusetts Senate Recognition, Harvard Prize Book Award, National Merit Commended Scholar, Massachusetts Foreign Language Association Award, AP Scholar with Distinction, the Core Values Award, the Commitment to Learning Award, the Academic Excellence Award, and the Outstanding Achievement Awards in both Social Studies and World Language. He is also a three-year class president, a School Committee student representative, a two-year Spanish Honor Society president, and a member of both student council and the theater program. Evan also volunteered at the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter. His hobbies include beginner language learning and playing the guitar. Evan’s favorite subjects are foreign languages and English. Evan’s future goals are to major in linguistics and work in linguistic equality advocacy during his career. He says, “Language barriers lead to disparities in health outcomes and unfair legal consequences, and that is an issue I care deeply about.”

Addison Collins, daughter of Debbie Collins, is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. She has received numerous awards including the Commitment to Volunteering Award, the Commitment to Learning Award, the St. Michael’s College Book Award for Scholarship and Service, and the Academic Excellence Award. Addison has been a member of the track and field team for two years where she qualified for divisional and also a member of the gymnastics team where she won the regional bars championship through her club team. Addison has also participated in community service at All Saints Church. Her hobbies are baking and her favorite subject is math. Addison plans to attend college and earn a degree in civil engineering.

Audrey Mahon, daughter of Karen and Chris Mahon, is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. She had received numerous awards including the Commitment to Learning Award, the Academic Excellence Award, Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics, and the Rensselaer Medal Award. She is a five-year member of the THS cross-country team and a one-year soccer team member. Audrey has also participated in community service by volunteering at the Festival of Trees. Her hobbies include driving, soccer, and listening to music. Audrey’s favorite subject is science and she plans to obtain a degree in engineering.

Sabrina Osborne, daughter of Caroline Osborne and Howard Osborne, is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. Sabrina has received numerous awards such as the George Eastman Young Leaders Award, Outstanding Achievement in Theater Arts Award, Excellence In Stage Management Award, the Academic Excellence Award, and the THS Core Value Award. She is also a member of the DECA Club, the Yearbook Club, is the co-secretary for the Class of 2025, and has participated in the theater program since the sixth grade. Sabrina has also participated in community service by volunteering at the Festival of Trees, the Tyngsboro Block Party, and the Lowell Humane Society, and has worked as a tutor and babysitter. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, reading, and traveling; her favorite subjects are English and business. Sabrina’s future goals are to own her own business and help people in need.
