Lowell’s LRWWU director honored
LOWELL — Aaron Fox, the executive director of the Lowell Regional Wastewater Utility, received the 2025 National Environmental Achievement Award for Utility Leadership from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies during a ceremony on Jan. 29, held in Rancho Mirage, California.
This prestigious award recognizes Fox’s exceptional leadership and the significant contributions he and his team have made to the community and the environment. The NACWA 2025 Winter Conference provided an opportunity for attendees to network with industry peers, learn from experts, attend technical workshops and stay informed about the latest trends and regulations in the wastewater field to improve the efficiency and sustainability of their wastewater operations.

Indoor mini-golf fundraising tournament
LITTLETON — Join an “After Dark” mini-golf ticketed event on Friday, March 14, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Reuben Hoar Library, 35 Shattuck St. Attendees must be 21 years of age and older. LOWELL — In addition to the flags customarily flown at JFK Plaza, the city commemorates flags from many countries during the year. On Sunday, March 9, at 11 a.m., the public is invited to a flag-raising for Irish Cultural Week.
